Remembering the you you used to like

For some reason, i have growing suspicion that i am becoming quite bland. I wonder if it's because i'm not always surrounded by people or if it's because my spiritual life is not as fiery as it used to be. It seems that I find myself not being freely childlike. I'm starting to think that this dimming is due to my lack of conversation with God. After all, whatever we are is derived from God's being.
